What A CeFA training course consists of
CeFA training courses are short term courses which bases mostly on practical learning rather than any classroom education. These courses are designed for people who have scanty financial backgrounds.
The full CeFA training courses consists of four modules. The courses are available at other areas beyond UK which are other than the places where the course is directly available, like the places in UK which are London, Coventry, Sheffield, Manchester etc.
Module one of CeFA training course covers the subject related to Mortgage advice and Practice. The module costs 130 pound sterling including costs for the books, evaluation fees , examination entry fees and registration for a twelve month period. This includes the following particulars:
- Theory: Introduction to financial services environment and products.
- Theory: UK financial services and regulation.
- A Practical : A two-hour test with 100 questions to be taken at a center where one can evaluate oneself with some help and then finally can take the test for evaluation which is called a Prometric Test Centre.
Module of the course requires a group of about four people to be formed, and the discussion amongst them to continue for two consecutive days the minimum. This is like study sharing sessions whereby one can put any question to the group and also is also liable to answer them successfully. This also costs the same as module one. A live question answer session helps resolve a theoretical situation. The module covers the following topics:
- Theory: Principles of investment.
- Theory: Investment products.
- A Practical : A two-hour test with 100 questions to be taken at a center where one can evaluate oneself with some help and then finally can take the test for evaluation which is called a Prometric Test Centre
CeFA Module 3 deals with protection products like retirement planning. It also explains how a person should handle the taxation, the priorities and the fitting in of the needs of the clients according to those a priorities vis-à-vis the taxation. This module costs the same as the previous two.
- Theory – Protection : Interpretation of Pension law and retirement history
- Theory - Retirement planning.
- A Practical : A two-hour test with 100 questions to be taken at a center where one can evaluate oneself with some help and then finally can take the test for evaluation which is called a Prometric Test Centre
CeFA Module 4 tests the understanding of the student regarding all the theories. The test is called a Synoptic test which is made up of six case studies with ten questions on each. This also costs the same as the first three modules.
CeFA training course can be online courses as well which is very easy to handle. When the courses are easy to digest and are in a presentable format, the success rate for the students is 90 per cent on the first attempt itself. But some of the students take time to get accustomed to this style of training which needs constant support to get passed.
